Since this is my blog, I’m going to take a minute to talk about something serious.
I lost a friend last night. He passed away much too young.
He was someone who was a “celebrity”. His death leaves me very sad, but what is really heartbreaking is how some people have chosen to react to his death.
He’s been gone less than 24 hours, and already I am hearing and reading negative comments from people who have no idea what they’re talking about, who never spent a moment in this man’s presence.
What is it about us as people that we think it is okay, that on a day when family and friends are trying to recover from the shock of losing a loved one, that perfect strangers feel free to make fun of our loss and say disparaging things about our friend.
It just adds to my heartbreak. I can’t even begin to imagine what it does to his family.
I was very lucky to have known you, my friend. I’ll miss you.

10:15 p.m. Put on my Daughtry pajamas, light my Daughtry candle and say my prayers to Chris God.
10:20 p.m. Dream of Chris.
7:00 a.m. Start it all over again.
Looks like another blogger has decided to go underground.
I guess the old saying that hot air always rises was proven unfounded today.
The MF Orphans have a blog
E I E I O
And on this blog they have some moles
E I E I O
With a mole over here and a mole over there
Here a mole, there a mole, everywhere a mole, mole
The MF Orphans have a blog.

Now, back to the question, “Do Taylor Hicks Psycho Fans Make Him Proud”? Does he know that they stalk and harrass his “real fans” so much that they have to password protect blogs that were at one time public, to stop the attacks from people in their own fanbase? Does he know that they have blogs where some go so far as to claim “celebrity status”, and then openly bash other fans, boards and everyone else that doesn’t agree that their “delusional theories” are correct? Does he know about the band of psychos from the American Idol boards that have proved that it’s not about the musc, but about who they can stalk and harrass?
Interesting little tidbit I found today.
This rhetoric sounds very familiar, seems to me I’ve read it somewhere before. I thought I had it in my memory bank, but “poof” it just disappeared. That seems to be happening a lot lately!
Loving the comment about the “real fans”, too.
